Veterinary Assistant
Macie was born and raised in Denham Springs, Louisiana. She studied Wildlife Ecology at LSU for 3 1/2 years before transferring to BRCC, where she is currently in her second and final year of their veterinary nursing program. She is a self-proclaimed crazy cat lady and has lots of experience with shelter/rescue work and TNR in our community. Macie was most recently an animal care specialist at Cat Haven. In her free time, she loves to write poetry, dance, and spend time with her close friends and family.
