Working at Cat Care Center is different. As a feline-only veterinary hospital, everything we do is built around providing exceptional medicine and a better veterinary experience for cats and the people who love them. That takes hard work, curiosity, compassion, and a genuine passion for what we do. Our team practices evidence-based medicine, stays current with the latest advances in feline care, and never stops learning, questioning, and improving. We hold ourselves to a high standard because our patients deserve it, and while the work can be challenging, it’s also incredibly rewarding. If you’re someone who wants to keep growing, be part of a team that cares deeply, and do work that makes a difference, you may feel right at home here.
Ideal candidates must be feline friendly and willing to abide by feline-friendly practice standards as set forth by AAFP and ISFM. Candidates should also be detail-oriented, multitaskers, self-starters, team-oriented, friendly and comfortable with customer service/clients, and proficient with computer and phone skills. Must be willing to educate a client on their cat’s health. Candidates may qualify for PTO, health insurance benefits, license renewal fee reimbursement (if applicable), educational opportunities, etc. as the company continues to grow!
Our Careers:
- Customer Service Representative (CSR)
- Veterinary Assistant (VA)
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
Customer Service Representative (CSR)
Our Customer Service Representatives are often the first and last people our caregivers interact with, and they play a huge role in the Cat Care Center experience. CSRs help keep the hospital running smoothly by welcoming clients and patients, managing communication, scheduling appointments, answering questions, and supporting both our caregivers and medical team throughout the day. This role is perfect for someone who is organized, compassionate, an excellent communicator, and able to stay calm and helpful in a busy veterinary environment.
Veterinary Assistant (VA)
Veterinary Assistants work hands-on with our patients while supporting our doctors and nursing team throughout the hospital. From preparing exam rooms and assisting with appointments to patient handling, treatments, diagnostics, procedures, and hospital care, our VAs are an important part of nearly everything we do. At Cat Care Center, you’ll also learn how to work with cats differently: reading feline body language, using thoughtful handling techniques, and adapting your approach to each individual patient. It’s an active, hands-on role for someone who loves learning, works well with a team, and isn’t afraid to jump in wherever they’re needed.
Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
Our Registered Veterinary Technicians are skilled medical professionals who play an essential role in nearly every aspect of patient care. At Cat Care Center, our technicians are encouraged to use their skills: venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, laboratory work, and patient assessment, anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, hospitalized patient care, and client education. Because we’re a feline-only practice, our team also develops a deep understanding of feline behavior, handling, and Cat Friendly Practice standards.
We’re looking for experienced, curious professionals who take pride in the details, enjoy educating caregivers, and want to continue learning and advancing their skills. You don’t have to come to us knowing everything about feline medicine, but you do need to be excited to learn it! We value technicians who are self-motivated, collaborative, compassionate, and interested not only in practicing great medicine, but in helping teach and elevate the people around them.
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
Our doctors are superstars. Being a feline veterinarian at Cat Care Center is incredibly rewarding, but it is not easy work. We practice evidence-based medicine, hold ourselves to a high standard of care, and expect our doctors to be curious, engaged, and ready to dive in. Feline medicine is constantly evolving, and so are we!
Our doctors are encouraged to ask questions, dig deeper, work through challenging cases, and continually build their skills. You’ll be exposed to a wide range of feline medicine and have opportunities to learn through complex case management, diagnostics, imaging, dentistry, surgery, and more. We don't expect you to walk through the door knowing everything. We do expect you to be ready and excited to learn!
If you’re looking for a position where you can simply settle into a routine, this may not be the right fit. But if you’re passionate about medicine, willing to work hard, open to being challenged, and excited by the idea of becoming a stronger veterinarian every year, you will grow tremendously here!
