Dr. Lacie Lee

Owner, Veterinarian

Dr. Lacie B. Lee was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana. She has always had a special love for animals, especially cats, and realized at a very young age she would pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

Dr. Lacie attended Louisiana State University as an undergraduate, majoring in Veterinary science. She was accepted to the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998 and graduated in 2002.

She is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP), Cornell Feline Health Center, Veterinary Cancer Society (VCS)American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association (LVMA), Baton Rouge Area Veterinary Medical Association (BRAVMA), and the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management (IVAPM).

Her special interests include all aspects of feline medicine, however, feline dentistry, feline geriatric care and feline oncology are her passions. Dr. Lacie enjoys working with local feline animal rescue organizations and helping the community gain compassion-based knowledge and awareness in all aspects of fear-free feline care.

She is a member of the Veterinary Honor Society, Phi Zeta, and graduated with several honors from veterinary school. She currently resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with her husband, two children, two dogs, four cats and many Brangus cattle. Dr. Lacie is committed to continuously expanding her knowledge and evolving in all aspects of the feline species.

Dr. Lacie completed the Center for Veterinary Education feline medicine two-year course under the direction of some of the world’s top feline veterinarians, working towards her goal of ABVP board certification in feline medicine; and has completed International Society of Feline Medicines advanced certificate in feline behavior.

Dr. Aimee Edwards


Dr. Aimee Edwards was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She has always known she wanted to be a veterinarian and would play vet clinic with her childhood pets! Dr. Edwards moved to Baton Rouge in 2010 to attend Louisiana State University for her undergraduate degree, where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority and graduated with a degree in Animal Sciences. She continued her education at LSU and graduated from the Louisiana School of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. Dr. Edwards practiced in Ponchatoula for three and a half years before moving closer to home and coming to Cat Care Center.

She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Louisiana Veterinary Medicine Association, Baton Rouge Area Veterinary Medical Association, American Association of Feline Practitioners, International Society of Feline Medicine, and the American Animal Hospital Association. Dr. Edwards is currently enrolled in the Center for Veterinary Education's 2- year feline-specialty course to broaden her knowledge of all aspects of feline medicine.

Dr. Edwards has a special interest in all aspects of surgery and is learning how to bring new and innovative surgical techniques to our practice. She currently resides in Baton Rouge with her husband, two cats, and two dog. Dr. Edwards is dedicated to bringing the best care and compassion to the felines of Baton Rouge.
